2019 Wilderness Fellow Hiring

The Wilderness Fellows Program hires young professionals to work closely with land management agency wilderness managers across the country.  Fellows work on a variety of projects, from wilderness character monitoring to writing wilderness mangement plans.  You can see more about the program here.  Usually, SWS begins the Fellows recruitment process in late December.  However, due to the federal government budgeting delays, the recruitment and hiring process is on hold.  We do anticipate hiring for the 2019 season and hope to have more concrete information on the hiring process soon.  If you would like to be updated when we have more information, sign up for our Wilderness Fellows Program newsletter here.
