The Society's Board is governed by up to a 21-member Board of Directors composed of five Officers: Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary, and Treasurer, one at large member and 17 Board Members.  Additionally, the Board has representatives from the four federal wilderness managing agencies as liaisons representing the Bureau of Land Management, National Park Service, US Fish & Wildlife Service, US Forest Service, Aldo Leopold Wilderness Research Institute, and Arthur Carhart National Wilderness Training Center.  The Society is actively seeking to expand the diversity of the board, to seek members willing to participate in the stewardship of wilderness and to be part of our community of practice.  If you are interested,  please contact us!
